Avoiding Foods That Cause Inflammation
Inflammation in the body can lead to a host of health issues that can cause physical pain, mental fog, or underlying issues that you aren’t even aware of. Needless to say, inflammation is no friend to your body, and learning how to cut it out is immensely beneficial for your quality of life and your health.
Foods that can cause inflammation include processed foods, sugary foods, salt, and alcohol, to name a few. It’s pretty safe to consider any processed foods are not quite beneficial for your system — so starting with reducing these "bad for you" foods is always a great place to start in improving your wellbeing.
Some of my favorite ways to include anti-inflammatory foods into my everyday life include:
Eating as Simply as Possible
It may not be entirely possible to never purchase anything that comes in a package — but filling my meals with vegetables, fruits, and other natural, whole foods help me to keep the processed foods off of my plate.
Making My Own Dressings and Condiments.
It's far more simple than you may think and most packaged, pre-made salad dressings and other sauces are packed full of unnecessary sugar and chemicals.
Starting Your Day with a Healthy Breakfast.
Starting off with healthy proteins and fats will fuel your body for the day and make you less likely to crave those junk foods or feel the need to grab something from the vending machine mid-morning to hold you over until lunch.
